Group 03
Industrial & intermediate products
Goods bought not for resale as they are, but as inputs into something else — production, packing, assembly or construction.
Typical items
- Packaging materials — cartons, film, strapping, pallets, protective packaging
- Timber and wood-based products — boards, panels, mouldings, wood and cork items
- Fittings, fasteners and hardware
- Components and semi-finished goods for assembly
- Consumables for production and warehouse operations
How it is usually bought
Against a technical specification, in repeating volumes tied to a production schedule. Consistency matters more than headline price: a cheaper board that varies in thickness costs more than it saves.
What we check before quoting
Conformity of the specification across the full run, the supplier’s capacity to hold a delivery schedule, batch traceability where the buyer needs it, and — for timber and wood-based products — the documentation required under the EU Deforestation Regulation.
Ask for a quote on industrial supplies
Send the specification and quantity. If we can supply it, you will have a written quotation. If we cannot, we will say so.
