Cookie Policy

The short version

This website sets no cookies. Not necessary ones, not analytics, not advertising. There is no consent banner because there is nothing to consent to.

This is a deliberate choice rather than an oversight. We are a wholesale trading company; we do not need to know which pages you looked at before writing to us, and we would rather not ask you to click through a banner to reach information you came here to read.

What that means in practice

We do not use Google Analytics or any other analytics platform. We do not use advertising or remarketing pixels. We do not use social media trackers, heatmaps, session recording, or A/B testing tools. We do not build a profile of you, because we collect nothing to build one from.

The only information we receive about your visit is what you deliberately send us through the enquiry form, and the transient IP-based rate limiting described in our Privacy Policy.

Our hosting provider keeps standard server access logs, as any host does, under its own retention policy. We do not analyse them and we do not use them to identify visitors.

What the site stores on your device

Nothing. The site does not write cookies, and in its published form it does not store anything in your browser’s local storage either.

Our development build includes a panel for switching visual effects on and off, which remembers your choice locally. That panel is not part of the published site.

Requests to third parties

There are none. Every file this site loads — pages, styles, scripts, typefaces — comes from our own domain.

This is worth stating because it is unusual. Most websites load their typefaces from Google Fonts, which quietly transmits the visitor’s IP address to Google on every page view. We host our typefaces ourselves specifically so that reading this page tells nobody anything about you.

You can verify it: open your browser’s developer tools, go to the Network tab and reload. Every request should point at erinetrading.com.

If this changes

If we ever add analytics, we will do it in this order: choose a tool that does not use cookies and does not identify individuals; if that is not possible, add a consent banner with Accept and Reject presented as equal choices, with nothing pre-ticked, and load no script before consent is given.

We will update this page and change the date at the top before any such tool goes live — not after.

Controlling cookies yourself

Every major browser lets you block or delete cookies and restrict third-party requests, usually under Settings → Privacy. On this site there is nothing for those controls to act on, but they will protect you elsewhere.
